It's Pixie Dust Fairy, Tink!!!


I had fun with little Ely capturing her as Tinkerbell, her "favoritist" fairy!
This sweet rendition of Tinkerbell is not a new design of mine, however I have incorporated a fabulous 100% Cotton pixie dust marble lime fabric featuring "pixie dust" glitter:0)
The bodice and straps are completely lined.
Unfortunately, I could not capture the glitzy bling of the fabric, in this photo however it is undoubtedly sparkly!!

A "Spook-tacular" sight!

I just came in from a very busy fun filled weekend! I plan on posting much more in the coming week, but thought I'd share a fun image I captured while in line for "Nightmare Before Christmas" ride at Disneyland. I have to say it was quite fun!
They ended up closing the park early for a Sweet 16 Celebration event for Miley Cyrus. I couldn't believe how much they whooped it up for her. I was told that for 2009, Disney's whole theme is going to be "What will you celebrate?" and guests will be admitted in free on their birthday! I believe the event was sort of a kick off for that promotion. Anyhow, tons of little girls frolicked around the park in their Hannah Montana get ups! It was a fun sight to see all the excitement.

Holiday Hoop-la! Starts today!!!

Well, I don't have a fancy graphic for today, however this is the first day of our Holiday fun together. My excuse for no frills is my sewing time to finish up Halloween Customs. It's really been exciting to focus and get things finished up.
I will have a really fun recipe this week.

My Sweet 16

Happy Birthday to my dear firstborn, Kristina!
I am more than blessed to have a daughter as sweet as her. She truly has a heart for others all brought about by her relationship with the Lord.

Kristina has always been a very adventurous funny girl... not afraid to be herself and has a love for Tiki men!

Where did time go?
I remember lying on my back tossing her about on my feet up in the air while we laughed and watched Sesame Street...
Where did time go???
She always had her hand in mine and reminded me to pray for others.
I would think... "how wonderful to have this child by my side...
it will be years before she's even in school...
we have all the time in the world together."

Many of you may have children my daughter's age, perhaps older, and very likely.... younger. I want to encourage you to enjoy your time with your little ones. Life can get so busy, and before you know it, years have gone by.
Take time to be silly with them. Get on the floor with them and view things from their perspective, because all too soon they are looking at you eye to eye, or perhaps they may even pass you up! Seize the moments you have and enjoy those blessings in your life.

Yes, on ocassion I still sing it to her! Actually, it's not uncommon for me to break out in song during the day, so pardon my silliness... but one of the things that my children always tell their friends is that their mommy has a special song for them :0) and that makes me so happy!!!
